That was me, three years ago, standing in a crowded terminal in Milan. I had a ticket that cost 15 euros, and an airline agent was telling me my backpack was "illegal." I felt frustrated, confused, and honestly—a bit cheated.

That day, I realized something: Air travel has become a language that most people don't speak. Between the "hidden" rules, the tech glitches, and the constant changes in baggage policies, the joy of flying was being replaced by anxiety.

Why we created Decoding Air Travel

We started this site to "decode" the mess. We spend our weekends reading the boring legal terms of airlines like Ryanair, Wizz Air, and Delta so you don't have to. We test the "travel hacks" you see on TikTok to see which ones actually work and which ones will get you banned from a flight.

Our goal is simple: To give you the confidence to book a flight, pack your bag, and walk through that terminal knowing exactly what to expect. No surprises. No hidden fees. Just travel.
